Opening this year's Sunset Concert Series is Cassandra House, a popular LI songstress who is on the verge of nation wide exposure. Recently her single “The Roam” was featured as the soundtrack for Subaru’s “More Good” commercial.
The Sunset Concert Series takes place every Wednesday in July (except for July 4th) and August beginning at 6:30 PM in the Harborfront Park by the Village Center, 101A East Broadway, Port Jefferson, just east of Danford’s and the Ferry. The “rain or shine” concerts will take place outside if the weather is nice, if not it will take place inside the Port Jefferson Village Center. In 2009, the Arts Council started presenting free concerts in Harborfront Park, featuring talented musicians who perform much of their own music. The mix is eclectic, ranging from blues to country, bluegrass to folk, rockabilly to jazz, young rock bands to classical fusion, world music and much more.

In the case of inclement weather on the day of a concert, a decision is made by 3pm as to whether the concert will be transferred to The Westhampton Beach High School Auditorium ~ which is a very nice comfortable setting with great acoustics. The high school is located on Mill Road in WHB

Without your support, we’re in dire straights and afraid of not being able to continue on much longer… We played a role in reviving the Live Music Scene on Long Island to a level not seen in 30yrs from clubs like Hammerheads, Speaks, etc. Our amazing staff relies on our humble club for their familes livelihood, and our Musicans will too lose out on our unwavering support & continued bookings.
